This custom concrete pool was designed to sit seamlessly within a striking architectural home, creating a refined outdoor space that feels like a natural extension of the house itself. Set within a courtyard-style layout, the pool balances strong geometry with subtle detailing to suit both entertaining and everyday family use.
The design features a long, rectangular swimming zone, ideal for lap swimming while still providing ample space for casual use. Wide entry steps and internal ledges offer easy access to the water and comfortable in-pool seating, enhancing usability for all ages.
From the early excavation and steel reinforcement through to the concrete shell, this build highlights precision construction and careful planning. The pool structure was engineered to integrate smoothly with surrounding retaining walls and levels, ensuring clean transitions between the pool, paving, and the home’s outdoor living areas.
Surrounding the pool is a large-format tiled terrace, providing a cohesive, low-maintenance finish that complements the brickwork and steel elements of the home. The frameless glass fencing maintains safety while preserving clear sightlines across the courtyard and into the landscaped surrounds, keeping the space open and visually connected.
